Chill Penguin, known in Japan as Icy Penguigo is one of the Mavericks from Mega Man X based on a penguin. He was a Maverick Hunter from the 13th Polar Region Unit. There was strong animosity between him and Flame Mammoth. Possibly as a result, his defeat freezes the lava in the latter's stage, allowing X to walk over it with impunity.

In the OVA, The Day of Σ, he moved to the 17th Elite Unit and was underSigma's command. During this time, he also led a company within the Elite Unit called "Chill Penguin Company," identified by light blue armor-clad humanoid Reploids. When the revolt started, it sounded fun to him, so he joined up to leave his boring post at the South Pole.

In Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, he is voiced by Dean Galloway, the same voice actor of Dr. Wily in Mega Man Powered Up. Also, in this game it is implied that Chill Penguin's involvement in the rebellion was also in part due to his jealousy of X.

In Rockman ×over, Chill Penguin is the boss of the tutorial and one of the four bosses from World 1.

When Sigma rebelled, he used deductive reasoning and joined the rebellion. He took control of a tower that would be the symbol of a city, and used it as a fortress. Flame Mammoth´s Stage

Vile & Bospider

Name: Bospider

Weakness: Shotgun Ice & X Buster

Bospider portmanteau of "boss" and "spider"), known as Bosspider in the remake Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, is the giant spider boss at the end of the first part of the final stages in Mega Man X andMega Man Xtreme. It was once used to crush scrap metal before being roped into guarding Sigma Palace.

It releases mini spider robots and creates random paths down its four rails to crush X, so the player must stay on the move. Its method of navigation is a parody of Japanese lot-drawing, or Amidakuji. It has strong defense, but a red core on its abdomen, its weak point, will be exposed when it hits the ground. In Mega Man X, its main weakness is Shotgun Ice (along with Magnet Mine in Mega Man Xtreme), but it is difficult to hit the boss with it (or the Hadouken) in time to hit the core when it appears, as it is only exposed for a short time. When it dies in the remake, Maverick Hunter X, it rolls over onto its back and tucks its legs to its body before exploding (a common misconception of how spiders die in real life. In fact, spiders never roll onto their backs, but stay upright while tucking their legs under their body).

Rangda Bangda

Name: Rangda Bangda

Weakness: Sting Chameleon

Rangda Bangda is the boss of the secondSigma Palace stage of Mega Man X and its remake Maverick Hunter X. Its design was based on an ancient mural Sigma once saw in Southeast Asia while still working as a Maverick Hunter.[1]

It looks like a face in the background wall with moving eyes, a nose gun, and a mouth serving as a pit of spikes. It can also move its side walls inward to try and force X into the spiked pit. In Mega Man X and its remake, the best weapons to use against it are Chameleon Sting and Rolling Shield.

Sigma Stage 2

D-Rex

Name: D-Rex

Weakness: Boomerang Cutter

D-Rex is the boss of the third section of Sigma Palace in Mega Man X. It was supposed to be a large Mechaniloid based on the T-Rex (hence the name), but by the time the fortress was discovered by Zero, only the head was completed, forcing Sigma to convert it into a tank.

Its top can detach from the bottom, hovering in the air, and both try to crush and seriously damage X. When either section collides with a wall, it can daze X and knock him off. Both sections can also charge up massive electron spheres that inflict devastating damage. Its main weakness is theBoomerang Cutter.

Sigma Stage 3

Velgauder

Name: Velgauder

Weakness: Shotgun Ice

Velguarder is Sigma's pet, a wolf-type Reploid[3] orMechaniloid[4] possessing a ferocious mind circuit, whom Sigma uses to hunt down and terminate those who betray him.[3] As Sigma oversaw his production, the two share several common traits.[3] Similar to Sigma, Velguarder is capable of launching a quick triangular attack, leaping back and forth between the wall, the ceiling and the ground. He is also able to fire powerful flames and ice attacks from his mouth.

In Mega Man X and its remake, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, X must face Velguarder before confronting Sigma himself in Sigma's hideout. Velguarder's weakness in these encounters is Shotgun Ice.

In Mega Man Xtreme 2, Velguarder is the first boss of the final stages, and is weak to X's Ray Claw and Tornado Fang special weapons, and Zero's Risingand Drill Crush techniques.

Sigma Stage 4

Final Boss : Sigma 1st Phase

Name: Sigma

Weakness: Electric Spark

Sigma formerly referred to as "Commander Sigma", is the main antagonist of the Mega Man X series. He serves as the final boss in all X series games except Mega Man X: Command Mission (where he makes no appearances) and Mega Man X8 (appearing as the final boss if the game is played on easy, and as the penultimate boss if the game is set to normal or hard difficulty, since Lumine is fought on normal or hard).

The first Reploid created by Dr. Cain,[1] Sigma was considered the finest of the Reploids and was the first leader of the Maverick Hunters; peace-keeping Reploids who defend humans against their renegade counterparts. Although he was once honorable, Sigma unexpectedly goes Maverick in the beginning of Mega Man X and rebels against humankind. He defects to the Mavericks and assumes the role of their leader. Under Sigma's command, the Mavericks grow into a legion dedicated to the extermination of the human race. Sigma instigates many of the destructive Maverick Wars, with the Maverick Hunters existing to crush Sigma and his minions.

Although he has been destroyed countless times, Sigma's programming always survives and builds himself a new form, ready to menace the world once again.[2] It is implied that he grows more insidious and vengeful with each transformation, with each successive plan becoming more and more desperate and aggressive. His primary enemies areX, Zero, and more recently, Axl.
